David began his career with Deloitte in London over 30 years ago and has since gained diverse corporate experience in various sectors, including property, retail, media, and technology. He has successfully established and managed several businesses in the UK, Australia, US, and Asia.
Prior to entering the property sector, David had built several globally recognised best-of-class businesses in media technology, retail, and entertainment.
With his experience in developing large-scale property development projects, David has managed conception, design, capital raising, structured finance, tendering, sales, and marketing.
David is deeply passionate about design, development, people, and place. This passion drives him to collaborate with award-winning architects, engineers, and designers to craft inspiring, design-driven environments of the utmost quality. His goal is to create vibrant spaces where people can thrive, work, and enjoy life's moments.
In pursuit of his vision, David founded Orb Property Partners. The company's mission is to deliver world-class urban renewal projects.
Phil Orlando
Construction Director
Phil Orlando is an accomplished professional who heads up the construction division of Orb Property Partners. With over 30 years of experience in the building industry, Phil is a seasoned expert who delivers exceptional results. Phil joined Orb Property Partners in late 2020, bringing with him an enviable wealth of industry knowledge and skills that have helped to complete over 100 projects throughout Melbourne.
As a registered builder and qualified carpenter, Phil's hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards while remaining within budget. His expertise in design, cost control, value management, problem-solving, buildability, durability, and maintainability make him an invaluable asset to the company.
In his current role, Phil works closely with the engineering groups to coordinate design and construction projects that meet the highest standards. His commitment to producing exceptional results and his focus on cost savings and efficiency make him an essential team member. Clients can rest assured that their projects are in safe hands with Phil coordinating the construction process with the builders.
